Receptionists speak English and are helpful. Hotel has ample security measures. Pleasant surprise of a free dinner and treats in the room. Will definitely return.

Plus, the free Turkish tea available 24/7 at reception is a nice touch.

The hotel allows smoking everywhere, despite putting up no smoking signs. This can be bothersome for non-smokers, as the smoke can enter the rooms.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel in Istanbul. the location is great, right in the center of a lively neighborhood with plenty of shops and restaurants. It may seem a bit intimidating for inexperienced tourists, but as a regular traveler, I felt perfectly safe. The hotel itself is spread across seven floors, and my room had a great view of the sea. The basic amenities were all provided, although the furnishings were a bit old-fashioned. The staff were attentive and friendly, always willing to assist with any requests. And finally, the breakfast had a decent variety, even for vegetarians like myself, although I would have preferred a bit more choice.
